WBO jr welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11 KOs) moved up to welterweight to outbox previously unbeaten Luis Carlos Abregu (29-0, 23 KOs) over twelve rounds on Saturday night at the Agua Caliente Resort Rancho Mirage, California. Bradley was in command the entire fight as he compiled a 118-110, 117-111, 116-112 win.
WBC/WBO bantamweight world champion Fernando Montiel (43-2-2, 33 KOs) scored an explosive third round KO over former interim super flyweight titlist Rafael Concepcion (14-5-2, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the Palenque de la Feria in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico. Montiel dropped Concepcion twice in round two, then put him down for the count in round three. Time was 1:07.
