Knucklehead's Official Trailer

Out on theaters this fall in the US, WWE films' releases it's official trailer for Knucklehead. It stars WWE's The Big Show as a 35-year old giant and church orphan turned mix martial artist Walter Krunk who joins a former MMA champ turned promoter and a chaperone heading to a big MMA tournament in New Orleans.

(TheBloggerSays: I think this one will be a hit, finally, for the WWE films. After busting it out with Cena and Austin for their action flicks, this one really fits well and I think will do good for The Big Show.)

RIP Lance Cade, 29

  World Wrestling Entertainment has confirmed the death of former superstar Lance Cade.

“World Wrestling Entertainment was informed Friday morning by Lance McNaught’s father that he has passed away of apparent heart failure. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the McNaught family.”

“Mr. McNaught was under contract from March 2003 to October 2008 and performed under the name “Lance Cade.” He returned to FCW, WWE’s developmental territory, in September 2009, and was released in April 2010.”

  Following the news that former WWE superstar Lance Cade was found dead this morning at the age of 29 due to apparent heart failure, several people from WWE and TNA have posted messages on Twitter regarding the news:

Jim Ross: “Multiple sources have reported that Lance Cade passed away a few hours ago of heart failure. Our condolences go out to his family & friends”

Shawn Michaels: “5min aft my morning tweet I got the call about Lance. No words will b good enuff. 1 of my boys is gone.”

Matt Hardy: “Was saddened to hear about the passing of Lance Cade today. My condolences & thoughts are with his family & children. It’s a sad situation.”

Christopher Daniels: “RIP Lance Cade.”

Mick Foley: “I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Lance Cade. Only 29 – I had no idea he was so young. My thoughts go out to his family.”

2. Divas Championship Match: Alicia Fox © defeated Eve Torres with an axe kick.

8. Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship: Sheamus © defeated John Cena by escaping the cage. Cena made Sheamus submit with the STF, but the referee had been knocked down. Nexus prevented Cena from escaping over the cage, allowing Sheamus to climb over the opposite side. After the match, Cena attacked Nexus, bashing Michael Tarver in the face with the ringside steps.

Deadman is "Wrestling's Most Absurd Storyline"

   According to UGO Entertainment's official website, UGO.com, WWE's "Phenom" The Undertaker character is it's most absurd storyline ever. Joining the likes such as "HBK tagging with God", "Hornswoogle as Vince's son", "Mae Young gives birth", the "Deadman" ranks no. 1 among them.

Here's what UGO.com has posted: "Make no mistake: The Undertaker is a tremendous talent. His longevity as a performer, his constantly evolving ring work, his masterful understanding of wrestling psychology and his instantly recognizable gimmick all ensure that he is a future Hall of Famer. However, that gimmick is absolutely ridiculous." Then added: "When The Deadman debuted, professional wrestling was a very different place, and The Undertaker fit in perfectly. However, as the rest of the landscape changed, toning down the more outrageous gimmick, The Undertaker retained every wacky bit of his, including his control over lightning, his ability to appear out of nowhere and even the loyal druids that attend him. And on top of that, try explaining to someone who doesn’t know anything about wrestling why the huge, creepy undead dude with magical powers is a good guy."

Lesnar, Booker T Disses Batista About His MMA Plans

   Former WWE champs Booker T and Brock Lesnar, UFC's heavyweight champ, both criticized Dave Batista, also a former WWE champ, about his confirmation that he will be joining the likes of Lesnar and Bobby Lashley or entertainer-wrestlers who jumped to MMA.

   In a recent interview by TMZ, Batista confirmed that he will be joining MMA in a company called Strikeforce. But TMZ also learned that Batista haven't signed up yet with the company.

   TMZ also posted an interview with Booker T, who had a real backstage fight with Batista in 2006 saying he won't "last 5 minutes" with Bobby Lashley and he don't think Batista can match-up with the big boys of Strikeforce.

   While in an interview with MMAFighting.com, UFC champ Brock Lesnar asked about Batista, he responded "Get in line. Everybody and their dog wants to get into fighting. Next question, We're talking about a heavyweight championship fight, not some wannabe."

Batista Talks About His Reasons For Leaving and Doing MMA

   As noted before, Batista was at this week's Strikeforce MMA show and made it clear that he left WWE because he was unhappy with the direction of the company. Dave Meltzer asked Batista if he would do something like Chris Jericho and return in a year or two. Batista said he didn't want to be compared to Jericho and said he had no plans on returning but did not rule out a return one day.
   Batista joked that he was in Los Angeles looking for work and said he's open for offers, be it MMA or acting. Batista has had discussions about doing a reality TV show.

   Apparently Batista has been approached with an offer by a non-major MMA group. Word is that it's a big money offer and is for two fights, likely pay-per-view events and the first opponent would be a well-known former headliner. This is the same offer that Batista hinted around about when he was leaving WWE. Batista has been training regularly at the Affliction gym and has dropped considerable weight since leaving WWE. Most believe that a MMA career for Batista is highly unlikely, given his age and experience, among other things.

   Batista's contract with WWE has expired and he is a free agent. TNA did make an offer to Batista but with the large amount of money they have spent on bringing in other big names recently, they couldn't come close to matching what he had been earning in WWE.

Rampage Wants WWE!

   After a hosting stint last week at RAW along with his A-Team co-stars, former UFC champ Quinton "Rampage" Jackson expressed his desires to join WWE via his Tweeter account.

   He said "I was like a kid today,I have not been happy this past week,but meeting my child hood heros,and making new friends was all I needed I'm back," Quinton said. "I will tell y'all everything tomorrow,it's late here,I'm still on tour,I will let y'all know what I'm doing so y'all can keep u,btw I want n." He then added "Everybody was cool! They r a bunch of big kids like me,doing what they love. Big Show was so funny! He showed me the choke slam. I want n!!!".

Batista Quits Pro Wrestling; Will Do MMA Next?

   Half-Filipino, half-Greek 6-time world champion Batista decided to call it's quit at the WWE after over a decade of body-slamming in the squared circle, mainly because of the injuries he suffered last May 23 PPV, Over The Limit. But the news buzzing around is, after his last appearance on RAW last May 24th, "The Animal" will pursue a career in MMA! With a video of him seen training at Affliction, WWE alumni Jim Ross was asked about his comments about Batista joining the likes of Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar in the MMA, he stated in his blog :

   “I’ve heard some rumblings that when Batista gets healthy that he might try his hand in the MMA world. This rumor is FAR from official but I do know that Batista has been doing some MMA training and has a bona fide interest in the genre,” Ross wrote.

   He then added, “This would be a huge challenge for Batista if he indeed attempts to compete in MMA at a high level which, again, is not a done deal.”

   As for WWE's John Cena "As for Batista, I never know how permanent 'quitting' really is. The only two I've seen quit, and truly not come back yet are JBL and HBK."

   WWE has yet to announce it's official statement about Batista's actions but news around the company is he'll comeback before Wrestlemania 27. His profile on WWE's website is also transferred from RAW to Alumni section.

Goldberg Update

   Bill Goldberg wrote the following on Twitter in response to fans asking about his talks with WWE: "until the WWE realizes that I'm not just another wrestler signing a deal....I don't expect any progress.Sorry"

Goldberg and Stone Cold's "One Last Match"

   Two of the WWE's most beloved character, Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin, hinted their return to the squared circle but didn't promise when or where, or even it's assurance.


   Goldberg, was last seen on a WWE ring 6 years ago when he defeated the current UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar in an inter-promotional at Wrestlemania XX. He stated on his Twitter account last week that "BTW..my desire to return to the wrestling world in any capacity is based on the fact that if I continue to let my issues with the business stand in the way, I'd be very selfish. Times have changed and I don't work for people anymore.....I work with them. I control my destiny. Depriving the fans and my family would be a shame." . He followed that up in an interview with ESPN.com, he said that he's open to wrestling one last match at Wrestlemania XXVII at his hometown Atlanta, Georgia next year. "It's not something that I'm seeking out to do at 43 years old. But you know, WrestleMania is next year in Atlanta. Hulk Hogan and I put 43,000 people in the Georgia Dome with three days notice. I've got a fairly big following in Atlanta," Goldberg said. "Is it out of the realm of possibility? I'd say no."


   While Steve Austin, seen occasionally on PPV events as special referee besides doing movies, said on an interview with Ottawa Sun that he has "absolutely" one last match left in him. "Do I have a match left in me? Absolutely. Do I want to do one more? I don't know. I'm very content with leaving well enough alone. I don't want to be 90% of what Stone Cold was."

Wrestlemania XXVI Results

   The WWEs annual PPV event, Wrestlemania, continues on it's 26th offering held at University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona. The event garnered 72,219 fans and grossed $ 5.8 million in ticket sales.
